Should you be concerned about the safety of dental
materials?
Bisphenol A, or “BPA,” is a material used in
thousands of common household and consumer products,
including some dental composites or sealants.
Studies have shown that exposure to BPA, while
usually at low levels, can still increase the risk
of heart disease, diabetes, breast cancer and liver
abnormalities in adults and can result in brain and
hormone development problems in young children.
At West Side Dental, we do NOT use any dental
materials that contain BPAs. We will also avoid the
usage of metals at your request. West Side Dental
